Local content

Local content is a national agenda that involves all economic segments in its development and empowerment, starting from individuals in the community to the private and public sectors. The authority has defined a national and comprehensive definition of local content, which was issued in the regulatory arrangements of the authority approved by the Council of Ministers. It encompasses the total expenditure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the participation of Saudi elements in the workforce, goods, services, and productive and technological assets.

Local content, simply put, is:

preserving as much money as possible spent on purchases within the kingdom by targeted groups, whether they are government entities, private sectors, or even individuals in the community.

The service is designed to enable private sector entities to apply for the local content service with the assistance of our consultants at Nasser Mohammed Al-Kanhal & Partners, accountants and legal auditors accredited by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, to have their applications reviewed and submitted to the authority for approval, and then to issue the local content certificate.
